The Guard and Guard Bracket are designed to integrate seamlessly with the upper components of the guide kit. The guard is made of steel and is available in both slotted and non-slotted versions; the slot is intended for riser kit installations but does not impact the guard’s effectiveness.
The bracket is constructed from aluminum and features two mounting screws that secure the guard, along with three Allen screws that attach the bracket to the bandsaw’s upper post. Once installed, these components do not require further adjustment, as they move with the post when adjusting the cut height.

Additionally, the lower section of the cup includes a single screw for making macro adjustments to the guide. However, this adjustment is rarely necessary unless there is a significant change in blade width. If needed the UNI875 can be turned 180 degrees to allow some additional horizontal adjustment
